Behavior is an Indicator of Decency

The behavior of human beings tends to vary depending on the age, situation, education, and status in the society. An individual displays different conduct when alone as compared to his demeanor in a group. Some people are timid at home and act fearless in other places. However, some people exhibit silly habits that are unbecoming of the normal humans. In fact, they are unethical pointing to the indecent and uncivilized character. Here, a list of twelve common silly behaviors is given to understand them.

1. Passengers hustle to board the train though they have the confirmed tickets. Some people climb over the wheels and squeeze through the windows of the buses to get seats during the rush hours.

2. Residents fight each other for collecting the relief materials distributed by the government agencies. Some people don't appreciate the services being rendered to them during the deluge due to heavy rains but insist for variety in the food donated by the volunteers. They demand butter and jam and refuse to take the bread served.

3. Some people take selfies in sober situations when the leaders and celebrities visit to condole the deaths or funerals of their friends or relatives.

4. Relatives expect hospitality and formalities during emergency situations like hospitalization, death, etc.

5. Some people approach for financial assistance to meet their emergency without bothering about the difficulties of others.

6. Selfish attorneys fleece the debt-ridden families by charging exorbitant  professional fees when these families receive the insurance money settled for the accident and death claims.

7. Agencies and officials siphon off a part of the grants and subsidies provided by the government and charities and disburse the balance to the people. That too after a considerable delay.

8. Many people lustily gaze at girls and women forgetting their age and onlookers. Some secretly watch the channels like Fashion TV and admire the serials like Baywatch. Many seniors cherish in passing obscene remarks about the women in the public places.

9. Rich people cornering the benefits of government schemes meant for the poor and needy.

10. Many individuals keep reminding others for settling the money owed to them. They pretend forgetfulness when their debts mature.

11. Some enjoy the benefits and advantages from others, but blame and  backstab the benefactors..

12. Many pamper and sing all praises in front of a person, but accuse the latter in his absence.

At the top of all these silly attitudes, a person will go to any extent to justify his or her mistakes. Nonetheless, the same person will blow up such issues when they belong to another person. Unless people understand the value of honesty and righteousness, Silly behaviors will continue to haunt the society.

Without This, Our Life is Meaningless

Discipline refers to 'Orderliness, System and Code of behavior.' We can notice the discipline in our surrounding nature also. Animals and plants have discipline. Birds fly in flocks. Bees and Ants work as a team. The upper part of a plant grows towards the sunlight while the underground roots spread searching for water and nutrition. Discipline is also a Science as it has a systematic approach for anything. That's why we have various, but related curricula classified as one group as a Discipline. Humanities, Natural Science, Political science, etc., are some disciplines to mention.

Lack of discipline among the soldiers led to the fall of great kingdoms. Absence of practice made many champions taste the defeat. The casual approach of students brings low marks in the exams. For want of maintenance, an important trip got canceled due to the breakdown of the car. Any sports body considers the participants' discipline as more crucial than their achievements. In the recent past, Olympics authority stripped the gold medals of the winners for the sole reason they violated the discipline codes set by the authority. Even an office has a disciplinary authority to teach the erring staff behave properly, or face punitive actions.

Though discipline is difficult to practice initially, the benefits derived are more. It saves energy, resources and time. For instance, traffic rules represent the discipline for safe and happy travel by all including the pedestrians; any violation of them affects several people directly or otherwise.

Discipline is always misunderstood as 'strictness' or 'rules.' Actually it refers to a system or set of basic principles for our life. Self-discipline makes a saint. Adherence to such discipline always is the toughest in life. Making others follow such  discipline becomes the most difficult. All great people of the world have one object in common though their approach might have differed. That is discipline only. A person with such discipline is the noblest of all. Here, the discipline primarily comprises the following traits.

1) practice of honesty.

2) exercise of patience and tolerance.

3) readiness to sacrifice.

4) compassion for others.

5) unbiased  approach.

6) humbleness, and

7) simplicity.

Individuals with above qualities lived, and live among us. They are few and far between. They are praised as saviours and revered as Gods. Honorary degrees and awards are conferred by many universities and colleges on such personalities though they had no formal education. So discipline leads to the focus and uniformity in the approach. It enables us accomplish the goals chosen by us. People having discipline with good purpose are respected by all. George Washington said, "Nothing can be more hurtful to the service, than the neglect of discipline."

Discipline decides our fate. Self-discipline instills confidence and determination in a person, whilst Team discipline results in cohesion and happiness. It brings fame and names to its followers. In fact, the value of discipline is highlighted and exposed to the world.

Discipline Decides

Discipline. Without this, our Life is a big zero. Discipline refers to Orderliness, System and Code of behavior. Even you can observe the existence of the discipline in our surrounding nature also. Animals and plants have a discipline. The Whole Universe has a discipline.

Discipline can also be called as Science or Deductive method of doing anything. That is why, various subjects of study but brought under one uniform group are also termed as "Discipline". We have Physics, Astronomy, Molecular Biology, etc...

In essence, Discipline leads to the focus or uniformity in the approach but in ethical ways.

People, who have the discipline with good purpose, tend to make the good people and they are respected by all. All the Great leaders of the world have one thing in common though their approaches might have differed. That is Discipline only.

Even in Sports of Great Olympics, discipline counts the first. The Gold medals    have been stripped off from the Winners of such famous events for the sole reason that these participants had violated the Codes or Discipline set by the concerned authority.

Self-discipline makes you a saint. Adherence to self-discipline at all times is the difficult aspect of our life. Making others follow such discipline becomes the most difficult task. A person with such discipline is considered to be the noblest of all.

Here the discipline mainly comprises of the following aspects.

-Practice of honesty
-Possession of patience and tolerance
-Readiness to sacrifice
-Compassion for others
-Unbiased approach
-Humbleness
-Simplicity

Persons with these great qualities lived among us.

They are few and far between. And they are praised as the saviors of humankind. In fact, they are worshipped as Gods.

Quotes on Discipline
